Such an amazing day! Being picked up from our hotel directly to Douro was great. The guide was fun, answered all our questions and we could see he had a fantastic relationship with both wineries we visited and with the restaurant owners. Great choice if you are looking for a more private day!

Highly recommend day trip to Douro Valley with Oporto Sensations - our guide was responsive, supportive, charming, shared just the right amount of information, answered any/all questions. The operator is also good communicator, and kept me up to date on pick up time at my hotel and quickly answered questions. Things went smoothly from the moment I was picked up. The drive to the valley was comfortable for my wife and I. We toured/tasted at a small family winery first, then had lunch at an incredible an exclusive restaurant, overlooking the vines. After we toured/tasted a larger winery which provided a nice contrast to the first one. Had an 1 hour river boat ride with always accompanied by our guide who gave us explanations all along the way. Totally a perfect day and way to experience the Douro Valley!

This was an awesome tour, well worth the money. It was a long day but great. From the pick up to drop off— everything was perfect. Pedro was our guide and we couldn’t have had a better guide. He was personal, charismatic, funny and so full of life—nothing was too much for him. The boat ride was great—we were so pleased that we had a clear day, not smoked filled skies, which was good. The tour of the 2 wineries were great as well as the olive oil tasting was amazing. The lunch at the second winery was delicious. We had our choice of a pork dish or a fish dish. We shared one of each and very good. The wine flowed nicely as well as the port. We aren’t port drinkers but did drink it and it is good. Anyone looking at this tour, you won’t be disappointed! If you have Pedro as your guide, you will treated very well ! Highly recommended best

What a wonderful tour by Rita. She was such a knowledgeable, friendly tour guide who took the time to explain things and made sure you had a good time. Rita (pronounced Heeta) drove us from Porto and back. The ride was very pleasant, explaining things about the region as we drove along. The two wine tastings were excellent because you get a tour of the vineyards. The wines were high quality and a great introduction to the region (Port and Douro wines). We loved lunch. It was at a hotel overlooking the river and the food was fantastic- multi course meal with wine and desert that was gourmet and delicious. This tour company really knows how to do their job! It exceeded our expectations. Also, the boat ride was lovely.

My husband and I went on this tour with driver/guide, Miguel. He was lovely, wealth of information, had humour, interacted well with the guests and a very safe driver. The 1 hour boat trip was very pleasant and scenic It was really an amazing sight to see the beautiful vineyards in the Duoro valley. Scenery is picturesque. The lunch at the small boutique winery was interesting , close to a home cooked 3 course meal which I liked very much. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Miguel.
