Overview

During this full-day experience, you will be able to become familiar with some well-known Italian brands and delicacies born in Emilia-Romagna. We will pick you up with a minivan directly at your place in Bologna, Modena or Florence (please choose a correct tour option) in the morning and let your perfect day begin. We will visit local producers to learn something new about the production processes of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, Lambrusco sparkling wine. After all the tours, youā€™ll taste the products to discover their typical flavors. Your experience wouldn't be complete without visiting Ferrari Museum, so to see the most famous supercar brand of all time, Ferrari. And, of course, without having lunch in a picturesque estate situated among the gentle hills of the Modena area. At the end of the day, the driver will take you back to your place. When select SELF DRIVE OPTION, you have to travel with your OWN car. NO TRANSFER is included

Pick-up is available from all hotels in Bologna, Modena, or Florence when an option with pick up is selected. Please specify your requested pickup point (name and complete address). For other destinations, please ask separately. The exact pickup time will be communicated before the tour in a separate message from ... the operator. Please leave a cell number with any messenger you actually use. Pickup normally starts between 07:45 am and 07:55 am and depends on the location you are staying in. Please make sure to be on time, we are not able to accommodate any late arrivals. When you are late for the pickup, the tour is not guaranteed, no refunds could be offered in that case. When you see that one of the options is closed, it means that pickup from there is NOT possible. PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE "PICKUP FROM BOLOGNA" IF YOUR HOTEL IS IN MODENA, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PICK YOU UP FROM YOUR HOTEL. Pickup from Bologna, for example, means that your hotel /bnb / etc is in Bologna. When select SELF DRIVE OPTION, you have to travel with your OWN car. NO TRANSFER is included.     Pick up from your place in Bologna, Modena, or Florence based on the option selected. Please note, that pickup time will depend on the meeting point.

  • Province of Modena

    DAIRY FARM / We will start our tour with a guided visit at a cheese factory and learn how aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is produced. The visit will be held directly by the local producer's staff, so none of your questions will remain non answered. The tour will be followed by the tasting of different ages of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese together with freshly made ricotta.

  • Castelvetro di Modena

    LAMBRUSCO CELLAR / After, we will enjoy a visit to a local winery and take a guided tour of the facilities to learn about Lambrusco, a sparkling wine from northern Italy.

    BALSAMIC VINEGAR OF MODENA / Then we will continue with a visit to an ā€œAcetaiaā€ and discover the production of the famous ā€œblack goldā€, the precious traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena, which you will be able to taste at the end of your guided tour.

  • Province of Modena

    LUNCH / We will have lunch in a picturesque estate situated among the gentle hills of the Modena area, accompanied by water and local wine.

  • Museo Ferrari

    On the way back home, we proceed with a visit to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello with cars, images and trophies that have marked the history of the brand, and you will be able to experience the places where the most beautiful cars in the world are designed.

This tour was very enjoyable from beginning to end. Our driver, Francesco, was an excellent driver and our hosts/guides at each stop were welcoming and informative. The Ferrari museum was our main focus, and before the tour, we wondered if we should have just arranged our own trip there, but we are glad we went with this tour because we would have missed out on a lot of good experiences.
