Plus, the trip is believed to be a great getaway from the bustling city to the tranquil water region for relaxation and understanding of how simple and peaceful the locals’ life is. It is indeed a totally unforgettable experience to try.

Itinerary

  • Cu Chi Tunnels

    Pick up at your hotels in Ho Chi Minh City. The trip to Cu Chi will take you an approximately one and a half-hour bus drive. Before exploring the tunnels, you will watch an introductory video about how the tunnels were made and how Vietnamese people survived in the harsh conditions of the wartime. Then, spend your time exploring the remaining areas and tunnel system which include special living areas with kitchens and bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for the security purpose during the war. Afterwards, special tea and cassava (guerrillas’ food during the war) will be served. Break time. Have lunch at the local restaurant. Continue to visit My Tho city. With boat trip on Tien River, you will be excited by the light breeze from the river and the natural beauty of four beautiful islands such as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise along the riverside. Cruise through the small canal by sampan, treating yourself to the beauty of the countryside, and taking a short cycling around the village which will certainly be an unforgettable experience when participating in the Mekong Delta tour. Bao the treasure of Cu Chi tunnel

Bao was excellent and, most importantly, hilarious. With his previous experience as a history teacher, he shared an educational history lesson along the way on the bus. Help me understand Vietnam history and shared his culture.

Excellent tour Cu Chi Tunnels & Mekong Deltra

Our tour guide “Toan” from Kim Travel was very informative about the tunnel systems and how ingenuity came into play during the Vietnam War. When we visited I felt it was pretty crowded but I can understand why. I also had the chance to try the M16 firearm and what an experience at the shooting range. We also got to experience local honey, tasting of tropical fruits with traditional local music performed, and finally the rowing boat. Such a memorable day and thanks again to our tour guide Toan, in which I highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommended! Pha out tourist guide is the best tourist guide I have ever had. She was nice & friendly and helpful. And the Driver huy he was so friendly too. I highly recommend again it was really nice trip and unforgettable trip .

We were lucky enough to have an excellent, knowledgeable guide. If you dont like small spaces, going into the tunnel might not be for you. Definitely worth seeing, and depending on the person, can also be a somewhat emotional experience when you imagine what happened during the war.
