Overview

Joining this tour, you will visit the land of Cu Chi heroes and catch a sight of how life was for those who fought for the peace of Vietnam and called this tunnels “home”. We will pick you up at your hotel. Then, we will have a straight drive to the tunnels where our guides will provide you with an in-depth history of the war, and the role that these tunnels played. You will have the opportunity to crawl inside the tunnels if you want. After all that crawling, we will eat some Steamed Tapioca and Drink Pandan Leaf Tea together in the tunnel area. On the way back to Saigon, we will stop for a local drink (sugarcane juice) and relax a bit before hopping on scooter and driving back to Saigon.

Itinerary

  • Cu Chi Tunnels

    Joining this tour, you will visit the land of Cu Chi heroes and catch a sight of how life was for those who fought for the peace of Vietnam and called this tunnels “home”. We will pick you up at your hotel. From there, we will head out of the city zig zagging through Saigon’s crazy traffic into a local area for a cup of Vietnamese coffee at a local coffee shop. Then, we will have a straight drive to the tunnels where our guides will provide you with an in-depth history of the war, and the role that these tunnels played. You will have the opportunity to crawl inside the tunnels if you want. After all that crawling, we will eat some Steamed Tapioca and Drink Pandan Leaf Tea together in the tunnel area. On the way back to Saigon, we will stop for a local drink (sugarcane juice) and relax a bit before hopping on scooter and driving back to Saigon. 1:00 - 3:00 PM When we arrive Saigon, we will have Lunch together (delicious Beef Noodle Soup) before going back to your accommodation.

It was 10/10, guide (Ken) was really good and informative. Everything went smoothly and we had a very good trip! I could recommend this teip to everyone.

Our guide Jens had that wonderful combination of knowledge, intelligence, wit and a desire to listen and learn. He knew his detail (as I do) and made the whole experience come alive. Being picked up and transported to the doorstep and back was well worth the money. The day was fantastic. If you are interested in the ‘America. War’ and want to get a sense of the daily experience - for both sides - do this trip. And, ask for Jens.

Brilliant tour

The team from Saigon Adventure was very professional and gave us good advice on taking a private tour instead of a group tour. Our guide Tony was informative and approachable, we had a great time exploring the tunnels and are very impressed at the resourcefulness and tenacity of the vietnamese people. You can also fire guns at a range but it was rather costly.

Amazing tour of the Cu Chi tunnels and Mekong Delta with our tour guide Steven! Steven was very knowledgeable, provided an engaging, entertaining and informed narrative and definitely made the experience memorable. Steven is a very funny guy and definitely made a great impression even on our heavily jet lagged minds!

Our guide Jens was amazing! So knowledgeable, very funny and kept all us engaged through out the day. We all had an amazing day exploring cu chi tunnels and then the museum. Jens went out of the way to help the kids and make sure everyone was happy and well
