Overview

Exclusivity: We operate the only tour that starts sail from Agios Nikolaos and gives travellers the joy of cruising across Mirabello Bay for 1 hour! In addition, our boat is the only one that makes a stop at the beach of Kolokytha and give participants the time to swim and enjoy their lunch there. This tour combines both a visit to the town of Agios Nikolaos, Spinalonga Fortress and a unique stay on the beach of Kolokytha for lunch and a swim stop. Our participants will enjoy a cruise through Mirabello bay, the crystal clear waters of Kolokytha beach, and the historic island of Spinalonga.

Itinerary

Heraklion

We start our tour from the pick-up points where we gather all participants in our busses. Our tour-leaders will welcome you in order to start the activity. In about 1 hour we will arrive at the town of Agios Nikolaos.

Agios Nikolaos (Pass By)

The cosmopolitan town of Agios Nikolaos. That's where the boat sails from, towards the island of Spinalonga.
Spinalonga (Kalydon)

Boat Trip: 60' Time in Spinalonga: 1 hour 20 minutes After sailing from Agios Nikolaos, we will arrive to Spinalonga. Spinalonga is known as the island of tears. There will be a guided tour with a professional guide for about 45 minutes and then free time to take photos of the magical views. Entrance to Spinalonga Fortress: 8€

After a 15' boat trip we arrive in the beautiful bay of Kolokytha for swimming and BBQ for about 1h30min. Participants will have the chance to swim and have BBQ lunch on the beach.

Agios Nikolaos

Sail back to the town of Agios Nikolaos which will be the last stop of this day tour. Enjoy some free time, for about 1h30min, take a walk or have a coffee around the beautiful lake and port of the town. Embarkation on the buses and return to the resorts.

Embarkation in the buses and drive back to the hotels where we gathered participants in the morning. Depending on traffic and on the pick-up places of each one, the time of journey back to the hotel will differ.

Epic trip, epic staff!

We had the most fabulous day, watching the glorious sunrise on the coach, a stunning boat trip, friendly and brilliant guide around Spinalonga, which definitely had a melancholy atmosphere, while also having the hope and joy of the cafe and games culture. Finishing the day with a quick stop at Agios Nikolaos was perfect. It couldn’t get any better, then we realised we’d left our wet swim gear on the coach. We were flying home the next morning and had no chance of picking it up. A quick email later and this epic company phoned, arranged to drop the stuff off at our hotel and did so within the hour. They also went out of their way to pick us up from our hotel in the first place even though it wasn’t on the list of pick up points. Absolutely tremendous service, thank you :)

Beautiful scenery and towns. Spinalonga has a lot of history as does Crete itself. Excellent and informative guide. I excellent driver and coach. The whole experience was really good. Highly recommend

Well worth the visit, especially if you’ve read the island by Victoria hyslop ❤️ guide pointed out places from the book etc. aghios Nikolaus was an unexpected gem too! Lunch was delish and lovely to cool down with a jump off the boat too! Well worth it for the money paid ❤️

One of the best days out for ages

The whole trip from start to finish was one of the best excursions I have ever been on for the cost of the trip. It did exactly as it said it would. We are vege and the option of food was excellent and usually it’s an afterthought on other excursions. Coach driver was excellent and prompt. The boat was clean and the staff excellent and the drink prices onboard were cheaper than on land. All in all a bloody good day out
