Overview

Make the most out of your day in Cozumel and and enjoy the amazing Cozumel Marine Park. On this tour to El Cielo with snorkeling, we go South to the Marine Park. Snorkel the famous reefs Palancar and Colombia and see plenty of trropical fish, shallow corals as well as amazing sea creatures. After an extensive snorkel adventure we take you to the magificient El Cielo, where you can already see the starfish from the surface in the cristal clear waters. Snorkel along the white sand and enjoy the beautiful colors of the Caribbean. We will take you to shallower waters, called El Cielito and have a snack with guacamole and fresh fruits. Beers and sodas are also included in the tour. At this place, huge sting rays swim in the water, an amazing experience. This is a private tour, so you define the schedule and the stops. Itinerary

  • Palancar Reef

    This coral reef is in the Cozumel Marine park and streches for miles. Discover colorful corals, tropical fish and maybe a stingray or a turtle. We snorkel the Palancar reef as well as the more shallow Colombia reef

  • Playa El Cielo

    Enjoy the shallow waters and see the starfish that assemble in the sand. In Spanish, "EL CIELO" means "heaven". It is one of the most spectacular places in Cozumel if not in the whole Caribbean. After seeing the starfish, we move to the more shallow waters. Here we have snacks and fresh fruits, a beer or a soda. Stingrays circle around us, sure an unique experience.

Best snorkel trip ever !!!

The crew was wonderful and very kind to my son, who was nervous swimming in deeper ocean than he ever had before. We loved seeing the stingrays at El Cielito.

Absolutely fantastic private boat tour with food and drinks to see beaches, starfish, and sea turtles

So this is my third or fourth tour with Leon Tours, and as usual it was beyond fantastic. I've been to Cozumel many, many times, and this tour company is excellent. This tour took us on a private boat out to an area of beach where the water is crystal clear and only about 1-2 feet deep. There was only my party of five on the boat. Swimming around us were tropical fish and stingrays. (They said we could have gone to a private beach with no other people around, but this area was beautiful and not crowded at all.) The boat crew brought beverages and also made fresh fruit, guac and ceviche right on the boat. And to be honest, after spending the previous week in Cancun and Cozumel, this guac was the best we had the entire time. At the time of our choosing, we were taken to a starfish snorkel area. Then we went to a sea turtle snorkel area. We saw at least ten very large turtles. The area we departed was basically right next to the cruise port. Absolutely great day and decent price.

Breathtaking Experience

This was by far the best thing we did in the Riviera Maya. The crew is all so helpful and experienced. The reefs we went to were so nice, and finishing off in El Cielo was truly an amazing experience. It was 11 of us and after doing tons of research, Leon Tours offered the best deal and AMAZING customer service! Will definitely book with them again on my next trip!

We did this tour as an independent excursion while our cruise ship was in Cozumel for the day. While we weren't able to go to El Ciel to see the star fish due to the weather, and they had to sub out another boat because of an engine issue on the original boat, the tour was excellent. Raul and Milton were excellent guides/captains and we got to snorkel at four separate reefs. We also had nice snacks including fruit, guac, chips, beer and water. It was a friendly and fun atmosphere. Even though we were not very experienced snorkelers, we had a great time and lots of help from the crew. I definitely recommend.
