    See historical monuments in Cozumel, right by the sea. Learn about the arrival of the Spaniards in Cozumel and in Mexico. Visit of a beautiful church, constructed for the 500 anniversal of two cultures in Mexico.

    Stop at a magnificient cave, right by the archeological site San Gervasio. See bats in the cave structures and learn about the geological nature of the Yucatan peninsula and Cozumel. Take pictures of natural flora like papaya trees.

  • San Gervasio Mayan Archaeological Site

    Visit the archeological site San Gervasio in Cozumel. Learn about the Mayan heritage and explore the ancient living of this great culture. Our tour guides are SECTUR certified (Secretaria de Turismo in Mexico) and have a special training to give cultural tours. Get to know the only pyramidical construction in Cozumel and how the Maya from the mainland came to the island of Cozumel with canoes.

I had an amazing experience on a private tour in Cozumel focused on Mayan culture and history! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and made the ancient history come to life, sharing fascinating stories and insights about the Mayan civilization. We visited the Mayan ruins, and the site was absolutely stunning—beautifully preserved and full of rich history. The personal touch of a private tour made the experience feel unique, with plenty of time to explore at our own pace and ask questions. It was a perfect blend of culture, history, and adventure. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to dive deeper into the fascinating heritage of the Mayan world!

Our guide was conscientious, very friendly, knowledgeable, and catered to our interests. He helped us understand the present culture and the tour guide at the Mayan site gave us an involving insight into the past. The private tour was unexpected but very practical for our older physical ability.

We had a fantastic time on this tour! Our guide was Juan Carlos (or JC). He gave us a lot of history about the island. I always enjoy learning about the history of places I visit. The ruins tour was very interesting, and the Tequila tasting was excellent! Best Tequila I have ever had. A must stop! We had a party of 8 and the tour was for the perfect amount of time, we had a spacious van, and we all enjoyed seeing the island and learning about it. Such great memories were made, and we couldn’t have done it without Juan Carlos.
