Beautiful Vila Ami in northern Corfu

Vila Ami is a beautiful modern property in ample and interesting grounds. Located a short walk from the nearest beach and the main street of the nearby village of Roda. A Carrefour Express supermarket is literally a two-minute walk from the house which is very convenient for supplies. Roda has many tavernas and bars to choose from, our visit coincided with the end of the season and some places were closed or about to close but we still had several great options. The house has a large swimming pool surrounded by a terrace with sunbeds. The owners had thoughtfully provided inflatables in the pool which our granddaugters loved. There are places to find shade either from trees or the awning over part of the patio. Ample parking is provided, but is not under cover. There are lovely shrubs and trees around the boundary and we did not feel overlooked at all. There is also a flower bed with some interesting plants. Part of the garden has been developed for exercise, with some basic climbing frames, parallel bars and a punch bag. There is also a very nice 8-hole putting 'crazy golf' course, putters and balls are provided. Other parts of the garden are either real or artificial turf. There are plenty of ways to amuse young children in this well thought out property. Internally the rooms are superb, with every thing you need for a comfortable, relaxing holiday. Unusually a maid service is provided which made me feel really spoilt.

The boat trip at Paleokastritsa was truly a highlight of our trip! We cruised along the stunning coastline, with mesmerizing views of the turquoise waters and hidden caves. Our guide was both knowledgeable and friendly, sharing fascinating facts about the area's history and pointing out unique sights along the way. A must-do for anyone visiting Corfu!

Mary was excellent, she was friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about her town. Pick up and drop off was smooth. Was a great day with a little mix of everything. Another review mentioned the boat ride at the end (which is an optional add on) was canceled due to weather, ours was too but completely out of their control. If anything, I was appreciative of her safety concerns. The driver was very nice as well : ) definitely recommend.

From the pickup to being dropped off this tour was phenomenal. You could feel how much Mary loved her city and her job. This is definitely a tour I’d recommend when in Corfu. We were given options on what we wanted to do more or less of. Places we visited were gorgeous. Mary was kind enough to let me borrow her jacket to cover my shoulders at the church- I didn’t even ask. How sweet is that!! Thank you both for an amazing tour!!
