In the way to Valladolid we will stop at Suytun sinkhole (cenote).
Cenotes are wonders of nature found only in the Yucatán Peninsula.
Cenotes are like portals to a different world.
To the ancient Maya, cenotes were passageways to the underground world, were also associated with the rain god Chaac, and sometimes used for sacrificial offerings.
Cenote Zaci is in the heart of Valladolid, is one of the biggest cenotes in the Yucatan peninsula. This is a semi-open cenote, like a lake. You will get refreshed in its turquoise waters.
Cenote Suytun is a unique cave cenote and it has one spark of light coming down the middle. Birds and silence you will hear. Enjoy this magical place.
