An almost full bus arrived from Florence on time. We travelled to Levantine where we then boarded a train to Manarola. After spending time walking through the streets at our own pace, we reboarded the train to Monterosso. We time for lunch there, again cruising the streets of the old town, after which, we boarded a boat to Vernazza. We had sufficient time to look around the town, to take the wonderful architecture and scenery. Boarding the train again for a trip to Riomaggiore, the last town in the 5, but we didn’t visit the town of Cornelia. At Riomaggiore, we walked up,the streets to the wonderful church high above the railway station, giving marvellous views over the old town and coast. On the way down, we took a short cut back to the station by lift, sore legs from lots of wonderful scenery walking. The only thing we would have liked, was a longer trip on the boat, but otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed our trip, the tour leader and driver did their jobs very well. Thank you for a great day Viator.
