Exit the port through the most western gate. This will be near the straw market. If you should exit before walk toward the straw market. No other bus as beautiful as the Chippie :-). We will be on the side of the port. PLEASE BE AT THE MEETING POINT 30 mins BEFORE TOUR TIME.

  • The Bahamas Rum Cake Factory

    The Bahamas Rum Cake Factory produces bundt rum cakes in several scrumptious flavors, like Pina Colada, banana, chocolate, and plain pound cake. The cakes are marinated in the famous Ole Nassau Rum, distilled in Nassau on New Providence Island, and they especially go great with ice cream. These cakes are available throughout the island as well as in the departure lounge at the Lynden Pindling International Airport and at Festival Place on Prince George Wharf. They are vacuum packed for shipping and will retain their flavor. You can get a tour of the facilities and free tastings when you visit. Homemade jams and jellies are also available. Hours of operation: Monday to Saturday 10:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. / Sunday 10:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m.

Engaging and educational tour!

We loved this tour! Our guide was so friendly and kind, and seemed to know almost everyone we encountered. We got to see a good chunk of Nassau. If you want a quick crash course on the history and culture of the Bahamas, this is for you.

We had such an amazing time! If you wanna know the rich/tourist and also real Bahamas this is the tour for you. Out guide was so informative, shared a lot of history too. Regardless if you have one or more days in Bahamas, this is definitely a valuable option.

So much fun to learn from Fontella herself. Her energy and love of her country is contagious. She had us cheering and waving to people along the way. Fun stops at Rum Cake sample and a conch fritter place with some delicious rum and other drinks. Finally wrapping up at her family stop on the beach with the best gin juice.
