Golden Triangle Adventure

Our tour guides were really great and so fun. We were picked up at our hotel (Rim Resort, Chiang Mai) and traveled to Chiang Rai to see the White Temple, The Blue Temple and then on the to the Long Neck Village before enjoying the boat ride on the Mekong River, learning about the Golden Triangle. While it was a long day, it was worth every moment. I learned so much about the areas and traditions, enjoyed tasty local foods. It is a must see!

Good Experience

Its a good trip and wort to go.. I am happy with our tour guide.. His name is Banana and he prefer to call banana since his name in Thai is very difficult to spell and if we say it with wrong intonation it will be a bad meaning.. Hahahah. He is very interactive.. his knowledge is very good.. and he explain about the places that we will visit, talk about the tradition.. i must say, excelent.. Our driver is good not too fast and not to slow either.. both of them are very friendly.. I am very happy with my decision to join this tour..

Historically interesting

It's a very long tour (14 hours), but worth it if you are a history buff. Certainly interesting to see the Long Neck Tribe and the Golden Triangle. Not great for photo ops, but worthwhile in terms of historical significance. Plus it gives you an opportunity to visit Laos.

A lot for one trip

Our tour guide was an hour late but later we found that it was due to circumstances that he had no control over. The tour was fun & a little rushed but there was so much to see. We made various stops that allowed for shopping & sightseeing. Every stop included something different. Our tour guide took care of us & made sure that we were ready for each stop including preparation of tickets & history. We enjoyed everything about this tour except for the drive back which was a very dark, windy road. It was a little scary.
