This is a full-day(around 6-7hours) round trip tour from Fairbanks to Chena Hot Springs, where visitors can relax in natural hot springs filled with mineral waters. Inside, visitors are greeted by stunning ice carvings, including life-sized knights, chandeliers that change color to mimic the Northern Lights, ice sculptures of animals, and an ice bar where guests can sip appletinis from martini glasses made of ice. The interior remains at a constant temperature of 25°F (-4°C), preserving the ice creations even during the summer months. Special ice chandeliers are designed to recreate the colors of the aurora borealis, adding to the museum's enchanting atmosphere.

A pleasant and professional tour guide

Our tour guide, Adam has given us a pleasant experience while touring the Chena Hot Springs. We're supposed to be included in a group tour but others decided to cancel on the last minute. Instead of canceling our tour and refer us to another group, he decided to push forward even though it's just going to be me and my husband. What a professional! He accompanied us to see places to visit around the area and waited with us on line to the Ice Museum. He even carried my heavy bag as my husband is also carrying one, and offered to just leave it at the van so that it won't be inconvenient on my part. A gentleman indeed! He also took pictures of us while inside the Hot Springs. Overall, he does not only tour you around but he makes sure that you will have a wonderful experience. I will definitely recommend him to be your tour guide.
