Our grandson is a war history buff and he couldn’t have a bigger smile on his face which reflected how happy he was to be there. Totally worth the entrance fee.

CDN W M was excellent....... organized, staff courteous and helpful.... Printing off of tickets was a nuisance........no confirmation that the printing was complete.....and since my printer is on another floor it became an issue of whether the ticket printout had happened.

Excellent and very well presented collection of war material. Must go if at Ottawa

A very interesting take on the wars of the world from the point of view of Canadian involvement. Lots of wonderful material, memorabilia, and equipment, extremely well presented.

Amazing experience. Walking into this experience immediately gives you the feeling of humility. The large, over sized walls and rooms set the tone for the rest of the facility. The displays are as educational as they are entertaining, teaching while engaging. We were told to expect to spend a couple of hours touring through the exhibits and we were there for over 4. Would highly recommend this stop for anyone wanting to see some Canadian and world history. I feel a newfound respect for those who served in every facet.

A highly recommended museum and should be factored into any Ottawa visit.

This is a very impressive museum by a global standard and the most impressive war museum. However, as a British visitor of many years, it was so educational about Canadian history and the growth of a nation. Moreover, it was a revelation to see the part that Canada has played in world wars and global peace keeping that has been overlooked by Eurocentric story telling and movies. The space afforded exhibits and multi-dimensional media and artefacts is truly world class. This is a highly recommended museum and should be factored into any Ottawa visit.
