    Your walking tour starts at Piazza di Spagna, one of the city’s most popular squares, known for its setting at the bottom of the Spanish Steps. Walk up these famous steps to enjoy a lovely view from the top, and then continue along Rome’s winding cobblestone alleys to the Trevi Fountain.

    Stop at the fountain to post for photos and throw a coin in the water, if you wish, which legend says ensures your return to Rome someday. We’ll also make a stop for gelato (included in the tour price), giving you the chance to relax and indulge in Rome’s famous dolce far niente, the sweetness of doing nothing.

    Then continue to the square that Romans consider to be the center of the city, Piazza Colonna, home to a column erected by Marcus Aurelius.

  • Pantheon (Pass By)

    Make your way to the Pantheon, a stately temple known for its concrete dome and open oculus, before heading to Piazza Navona, one of Rome’s liveliest squares, where street artists show off their talents and visitors mingle around Bernini’s Fountain of the Four Rivers. Please note: The Pantheon entrance is not included. Full explanation about the Pantheon will be given from the outside

Good introduction tour to parts of Rone

Good introduction to these parts of Rome. I recommend doing a tour like this early in your visit to get your footing. Good for teenage and late elementary children.

The tour was very informative. The guide was wsrm, welcoming and knowledgeable. He shared details from an archeaological and historical prospective, with a local flair. He also gave tips about good places to eat, not the tourists traps. He had a great sense of humor and made sure we had time for pictures. He knew his Roman history!

Walking tour fun way to see Italy

This was a very reasonable priced way to see many sites of Italy. We could have done it on our own but quickly realized it was nice hearing history and hidden gems on our walk from stop to stop. It was stress free to be with a guide.

Guide was excellent and very knowledgeable about the city. She went out of her way to get across all the historic messages even if several monuments and fountains were under renovation.
