Starting and ending at the BTS Phloen Chit station, walk amid grand vistas, embassies and majestic trees of Bangkok’s most green neighborhood. Paul will put the sights that you pass into context of how Bangkok developed, what spirit houses say about Thai beliefs and why food and color matter to Thais. You’ll learn amazing stories behind seemingly ordinary things on Wireless Road: groups of motorcycle taxis, convenience stores, Hindu gods, the Thai flag, the number nine, and many more. Hundreds of people have loved the live version of this tour and now you can experience it with freedom of an GPS audio guide! Since the audio plays automatically at exactly the right time and place as you walk, you can start the tour in the VoiceMap app (which works offline), put your phone in your pocket and your earphones on, and walk at your own pace with Paul on Wireless Road.

    The tour takes you on a humor and culture filled walk beginning at the Phloen Chit station going down to Lumphini Park and back again. Start the tour in the app, put your phone in your pocket, and let your guide direct you through the streets. The total walking distance is approximately 2km and takes just under an hour without stopping, but you can pause anytime! The narration is crisply mastered by a professional audio engineering staff, and the tour integrates sound effects and music to create an engaging experience that is suitable for all ages that can wear ear buds. A true gem. I learned so much about Thailand just by taking this tour! I found the history Thailand has with United States just fascinating & how so many corners & landmarks in this strip represents USA’s friendship with this lovely country. I also enjoyed learning about some of the beliefs held by the Thai and see it represented in this lovely tour well narrated tour. I highly recommend it! These are some of the pics I took during the tour that I have on hand. And the yummy coffee I had in between listening to the tour. I’m so glad I took this tour. Totally worth it!

Pauls' Embassy Wireless Road walking tour is entertaining and full of great Thai facts! Love the fact that I can start and stop as you I am walking - allowing me to go at my own pace. The stories are great - information you don't get from a printed guide book. Learn how Wireless Road got its name and the historic significance to the area. Worth every baht!

This is a great tour to take early in your trip. Mainly because there is so much cultural and historical information given on the (approximately one hour) tour which carries well beyond Wireless Road. I went on the tour because my hotel was on the road and I had a few hours before meeting up with friends. I learned so much about other aspects of Bangkok and spent the rest of my vacation telling my friends about Spirit houses and other cool information I had learned. It is a quick study on Bangkok and its quirks. @270Setarehj
