Overview

This 3 hour bike tour will show you the real Bangkok. Highlights of the tour are the exploration of Chinatownā€™s narrow alleyways, markets and backstreets as well as the charming local areas of Thonburi.

Meeting points

Co van Kessel Bangkok tours operate all of our tours from our office at River City Bangkok. We are located on the ground floor (outside mall entrance) to the right of the main mall entrance, past the Subway Sandwich shop, and next to the exit ramp of the parking garage.

Itinerary

  • Chinatown - Bangkok (Pass By)

    Starting in the heart of Chinatown, our bike ride explores its frenetic market environment. Winding through narrow alleyways, our senses come alive with the sights, sounds, and smells of a community in motion. Weā€™ll pass by shophouses selling everything from Buddhist amulets to recycled truck engines. Locals worshiping at hidden temples, ritual paper burnings, and the omnipresent spirit house display evidence of a culture centuries in the making.

  • Chao Phraya River (Pass By)

    Crossing the Chao Phraya River to Thailand's former capital, Thonburi. We cross either by cycling over the bridge, or take a local ferry.

Great way to see the city. Fabulous back streets bike tour that allows you to cover a lot of ground and certainly see a side of things you wouldn't othwrwise.

Truly the kids and I spent a wonderful day biking around the back doors of Bangkok and it was so fun !!!!!

I highly recommend this activity to have fun outdoors and do some moving instead of eating or shopping this is super worthwhile

Winnie & Sammy were good at controlling the group of circa 14 ppl. It's not a fitness tour, you cycle at very slow pace, keep balance needs skill. Not for families with young kids who can't lift their bike onto the pavement
