Overview
Take a day trip from Bangkok to Khao Yai National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Start at Kilometer 30 viewing point on Thanarat Road for scenic views of the Northern part of the park—perfect for photo opportunities.
Continue to Kilometer 33, also known as Nong Phak Chi. Enjoy a 2.5-hour trek, passing an observation tower where various species of wildlife can be seen. A salt lick near the tower attracts animals, and the route offers views of a lake, grassland, and forest.
