Overview

On this tour you will take in the amazing scenery of two of the Discovery Points on the Wild Atlantic Way, plus enjoy a boat ride beneath the Cliffs of Moher, subject to weather conditions. Experience two of Ireland's top natural attractions—the Aran Islands (Inisheer) and the Cliffs of Moher—in one day on this tour from Galway. We will take you by boat from Doolin to Inis Oirr(Inisheer) where you can spend 2 hours at your leisure exploring the island. On the return sailing from the island we will detour underneath the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher - subject to weather conditions. We will then enjoy the Cliffs of Moher from the top by visiting the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Experience Centre

Cliffs of Moher tour

Dez and Vincent were excellent guides! Lots of pertinent information and many laughs, I would highly recommend this tour. Amazing views of the cliffs and a wonderful visit to the Aran islands.

We really enjoyed our Aran Islands and Cliffs of Moher tours! The day was seamless and our bus driver Alan was great. He provided us with history along the way, and gave specific instructions on where to meet each time we got off the bus. We especially enjoyed seeing the Cliffs from both the water and then above on land. The Aran Islands tour was like stepping back and time. We had debated on whether to include this portion, and were so glad that we did. The horse and carriage ride through the island with a local driver was outstanding and really gave us a feel for life on the island. all in all, the tour was wonderful and is highly recommended!

Great day trip

The bus ride was smooth to and from our drop off locations. Alan was a fantastic guide and driver. We got to go to the closest of the Aran islands via ferry which was a little rough (if you get seasick definitely bring Dramamine). The view of the Cliffs of Moher was definitely worth the nausea. On Inis Oier we took a mini bus tour which was reasonable price wise and helped us see the entire island. After the island we drove up the cliffs and explored those for a little while. Overall it was a great tour and would do it again.

More than I realized!

Great experience, learned a lot. Be prepared for an all day trip on a large bus. Visiting Inisheer was definitely the highlight. We were encouraged to take the horse and buggy tour, which we did (as my husband wanted), but it only stopped at the shipwreck. I read another review to take the wagon (van) and because they are faster, you can also stop at the church and Castle. Our boys chose to walk to the castle (10 mins) and explore for the last hour instead of eating lunch. I didn't realize on our way back that we also toured the cliffs by boat before getting back on the bus. Wind and rain that day so really choppy (glad I took dramamine), but my husband was able to go up top and video the cliffs while I held on down below. The tour from the top is equally amazing. We were wiped out at the end but overall great trip.
