    The Railway Market is humorously called as the “life-risking” market! You will have fun watching a local train running toward the Mae Klong station. You will see the “Unseen-Thailand” experience. When the train signal rings up, the chaos will happen! Vendors will rush to detract their stall and clear away all goods that obstructs the running train at a great speed. Once the train passes, all shop owners will resume their stalls again. The transportation from Maeklong Railway market to Bangkok is about 1 hour 50 minutes.

  • Wat Bang Kung

    Wat Bang Kung is one of the most iconic attractions in the Amphawa district. The temple is famous for its roots and branches of the Banyan tree that locked the ordination hall housing the “Luang Por Nin Manee”, the golden buddha image dated back to the Ayutthaya period. In the 18th century, Wat Bang Kung is the gathering place of Thai heroic warriors so it houses many statues showing Thai boxing posture. This place is therefore a great photo-taking spot for foreign travelers.

Lin, the tour guide, and Kevin, the driver, took me and my husband took a wonderful private long tour. They were both wonderful; polite, informative and willing to work with our disabilities. We saw so much! Lin’s English was clear and she has a very good command of the language. Definitely recommend!

I went with our guide Lin and driver Mr Kevin. I enjoyed it a lot. We were able to make the whole programme, ending with a one hour boat tour to watch the fireflies. I do recomend it.
