Our Guide Poppy was superb!! She knew all the places to go for good shopping, was so kind and helpful to my parents, and made sure we saw all the sights!! The train market was very crowded, difficult to navigate if you have mobility issues. The floating market is mainly vendors on the side that you approach on the boat vs vendors selling from a boat that pulls up beside you. Was a great experience.

Lin was very entertaining and nice. She explained everything including history of the Thailand. We had very much fun with her.

I traveled solo to Bangkok a week early before an organized group tour that did not include this train and floating market. I didn’t know what to expect as this was my first time in Thailand and I had arrived maybe 12 hours before the tour started. I am so happy this was available and that I was able to do it with Katie as my guide! Her communication was excellent- she reached out to me before the tour started and let me know about what to expect as well as where we had some flexibility. On the day of, she arrived at the hotel quite early with the driver and let me know she was going to be in the lobby and patiently waited without adding any pressure to rush me. (This was assuring because I’ve done tours where I’ve had to waste time looking for the tour guide or they made little to no effort to communicate their location) From the moment we met, Katie was very kind, funny, down to earth, and you could tell she cared about making this experience worthwhile. She knows so much and also navigated the tour effortlessly. She answered all my questions and helped me figure out the ATM as well as find a tailor (not included in tour, but I appreciated this so much!). I was comfortable with her and the driver and felt safe and tended to the entire time. It was like I was hanging out with a dear friend honestly. She was proactive in taking photos and having me try so many tasty things…including some chicken bbq which I am still dreaming about! If you are interested in taking this tour, I suggest you do! It was both time and money (and delicious calories) well spent! Added bonus if you get matched with Katie!

Poppy was amazing! We had a great time at the railway & floating markets. Our ride was very smooth & comfortable in and out of Bangkok which made the long trip worth it! Poppy gave us many options and let us customize our experience. Er had a great time, highly recommend!
