Overview

Are you ready for the adventure? Starting at Central Market, where we will try various typical snacks, we are going to conquer one of the most beautiful castles in Spain in front of the sea which has more than 1000 years of history. (Transportation to the castle is incluided). We will descend to the historic center enjoying the most important monuments and discovering the seven secrets. Let me surprise you with the beauty of my hometown and with countless anecdotes, history, legends and intrigue. Finally we will visit the tapas bar run by my childhood friend, he has been awarded with the best tapas in Alicante, and you will be able to taste one of the winner tapas as well as a typical Spanish drink.

To start, we will introduce you our amazing Central Market and we will taste some of the best snacks of our gastronomy.

We will go by private transportation to the top of the castle. We will discover its secret areas and we'll go all the way up to the old town, exploring a lot of hidden spots that you can not find on a map.

We will walk through our most beautiful neighborhood, enjoying the secrets and its History and legends. And finishing at our favourite tapas restauraurant, where we taste the best drinkds and tapas of Alicante.

Nice Walking Tour around Alicante Downtown

Excellent choice. Our tour guide, Isaac, explained to us everything about Alicante City, its history, how the city is divided, and the main tourist spot. During the walking tour, he was always checking if we felt fine and provided us water as well as typical nougat (turron) at the beginning of the tour (delicious). The tapas and drinks at the end also were amazing.

Isaac was an excellent guide, knowledgeable, personable, superb English. Whether you’re in Alicante for a day or more this walking tour will provide you with the best information on history and customs, and will additionally be very enjoyable. Isaac was happy to answer all questions, engage in conversation, and he provided traveler tips on seeing and dining in both Alicante and the outskirts, eg taking the tram when heading to places like Altea. We recommend this walking tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time with Paco on this tour. He knows so much about Alicante, the regional of Spain where it is located and the local food, plants and climate. We had a great time overall. A great tour to take when you first arrive in Alicante to learn about the city overall before you spend more time there.
