Overview

This is a small group tour of no more than 7 people and therefore is an exclusive way to visit the area. A great opportunity to visit the town and natural area of Guadalest. Located inland from Alicante city, on tour we travel from the coast inland towards the mountains and in approximately 1 hour reach the lush green area of the Guadalest valley and then the Algar springs area.

Guadalest Valley

Visit one of the most beautiful towns in all of Spain! This tour is full of impressive scenery as we travel from the coast to the mountains. Our tour guide will show you around Guadalest town where have fantastic views of the castle and bell tower. After we try tasting of local products (fruits, wine, typical sweets of the area).

At the Algar springs you will have the opportunity to walk the 1.5km trail, swim around the series of waterfalls and springs or just choose a spot to sit and enjoy the beautiful views.

Excellent trip to Guadalest and Algar Waterfalls

Excellent trip to Guadalest and Algar Waterfalls (31 May 2024). Collected spot-on time. Guide and driver Alberto was very knowledgeable, informative and fun on the way up to Guadalest. He escorted us into the village centre and took us to the entrance of the castle. Free time to explore the castle, the village streets and shops - amazing views. Then off to the waterfalls and plenty of free time to wander there. A lovely day out made all the more pleasant with Alberto’s company.

Professional, friendly and interesting. A MUST for all. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Guide was very knowledgeable and gave lots of interesting information. It was a relaxed and friendly tour of only 6 people. So pleased we did not rent a car as the roads were windy and narrow in parts, having a driving with local knowledge was much better. The views were breathtaking. Great recommendations for lunch, value for money and lovely food. It is a must for all who visit Alicante.

A nice ride with mini van. Guadalest is the best of this trip! Really a top place! Algar Springs is OK but not so extra. But as summary, the trip is worth it! The guide Alberto were good!

Alberto was very informative, polite, gave many recommendations! Super happy to have gone there! Worth the money. Maybe would have appreciated a little bitore free time, but the rest was amazing!

Relaxing by the stream in the Algar springs. Take swimming gear! A few of our party went swimming and really enjoyed it. Alberto was an excellent and informative guide who told us alot about the places we passed on the journey and the two places which were the focus of the visit. We were given plenty of time to explore on our own and given the time if year, there were no crowds. Perfect weather made for a relaxing and enjoyable day.
