Sick to Death in Chester is hands down one of the most unique and entertaining attractions I’ve visited. Set in a fittingly gothic, historic building right on the city walls, the atmosphere is perfect before you even step inside. Think medieval spookiness meets medical mayhem with a healthy dose of humour thrown in!
The experience is fully immersive, walking you through the gruesome and fascinating history of medicine, from plague doctors to Victorian surgery, all presented with a creative twist. It’s both educational and darkly hilarious definitely not your average museum.
The staff are fantastic too: super friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about making the visit memorable. Whether you’re a history fan, a lover of the weird and wonderful, or just looking for something totally different to do in Chester, Sick to Death is a must.
It’s quirky, clever, and just the right amount of creepy. Highly recommend!
