Wonderful tour of Chester with Phil!

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Phil Bailey. He was very knowledgeable and adapted the tour to our interests, making sure to give us all the ins and outs of the history of Chester. He even told us about a building that wasn't included in the tour but we found fascinating. We felt lucky to see some secret spots of Chester and fell in love with the city. What a lovely day!

Phil was a superb guide with a wealth of knowledge and great passion for this beautiful and historical city. I learnt so much about Chester which would not have been the case just looking around myself. So many wonderful pictures to take and splendid buildings everywhere. For the first time visitor this tour, especially with Phil, is a must!

Lots of interesting facts about the long history of Chester. Really good to see the undercrofts - it’s amazing that there is still evidence of this architecture from such a long time ago. Good to walk along the Rows and understand how and why.

Excellent tour. Caroline was very knowledgeable and personable. She had endless patience answering all of our questions and even tried to explain things simply for those whose first language wasn’t English . We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would recommend to a friend.
