On your adventure, unlock a hidden trail by finding clues, solving puzzles and completing challenges, earning points along the way. During your Quest, not only discover the city's highlights but explore hidden gems, learn some fun facts about the places you visit and see things that most people just pass by. As the activity is all self-guided through the GQA app, you can start your Quest when you want (must be played during daylight hours), there are no set starting/ending times. No groups to follow. You can go at your own pace, stopping for longer in one location, taking a break or having a snack in one of the many cafes and pubs along the trail OR you can make it a race and try to get to the top of the city leaderboard! Itinerary

Go Quest Adventures is turning the streets of Chester into an adventure Playground! Welcome to Chester, famous for its city walls, Roman centre of Deva, the one-of-a-kind Rows and the oldest racecourse in England. Your adventure will explore the city centre unlocking a hidden trail full of fascinating history. Your Quest start near the Chester Cathedral then wind you through the original streets of the once Roman city, seeing the wonders it has to offer, then through the beautiful gardens of Grosvenor Park and along the River Dee then back to Chester Town Hall. As you find the clues and solve the puzzles, you will walk the famous walls, hear a ghost story or two and maybe even take part re-enacting events that took place thousands of years ago in Britain’s largest Roman amphitheatre. So grab your toga, put on some comfy shoes and get ready to explore the sights, discover hidden gems and ultimately, conquer your Chester Quest! History and Exercise in one

A fantastic way to see this beautiful city and find out about its history. We have been to Chester on many occasions but with this quest we saw and experienced places we have never been to. It was fun for all the family members but some questions were tricky as they were not explained properly, this did not distract from the fun but some spelling and questions need to be adapted. If you want to explore Chester and have some fun then this is a must do.
