Overview

If you visit Puerto Escondido without surfing, you haven’t had the full experience. We offer everything you need in order to surf the amazing waves of the most iconic surf town in Mexico. We give the option of adding both GoPro and drone footage to your lesson. We adapt the lesson to your level, ensuring that you are always comfortable in the water and have the best time. If the waves are too big in la Punta, we will take you to Carrizalillo, a more tranquil beach. In case the waves are too small in la Punta, we will take you to another beach 15 minutes outside of Puerto. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable in the water and have fun.

Itinerary

We start every lesson with a detailed introduction to water safety and theory. We also practice your pop-up and when you are ready, we enter the water and start the fun part – surfing! We adapt the lesson to your level: if you are a beginner, we push you into the waves, and if you are intermediate we provide you with coaching and help you catch the waves on your own. We also have a surf house called Casa Silva for our surf students, so let us know if you want the full experience with surf and accommodation while staying in Puerto Escondido.

Best Surf School in Puerto Escondido

I had to lessons with the guys and especially with Oniver and it was incredible. Oni is a really good coach, he teaches very good and gives a comfortable feeling in the water. I learned with Oni right away to surf and we had really good conditions. The guys from Silva Surf School know the right spots, the right conditions for any level and make you feel ver comfortable! I can highly recommend the Surf School!

Great lessons. Instructors were so nice and explained everything in details. Usually max 2-3 persons are with one instructor so everyone has enough time to surf

Such a friendly and fun group of instructors. We had such as great time! They were really knowledgeable and made us feel super comfortable as beginners. They provided us with zinc sunscreen and gave us sand opportunities in the 2 hours to catch waves. I would highly recommend, it was a highlight of our time in Puerto Escondito.

The great attentiveness of the instructors and the detailed explanations of how to learn to surf as well as their positive attitude. An overall really fun experience. I have re booked with them for me and daughter for December 2024
