Please follow the address for Japankart in maps, the closest landmark to our shop is the Asahi beer headquarters. Its roughly 2-3 minute walk from there. There will be a signage on our front door "JAPANKART Go Kart Tokyo Tour".

In which case you will need a Japanese translation of your license from the Japan Automobile Federation (JAF/Online Application for Japanese Translation) and your own driving license. Failure to bring all required documents will result in cancellation of the tour without the possibility of a refund. We'll start driving from our garage, which is nearby Asakusa, Tokyo. We'll have an exciting ride on the public roads and head to Toyosu where we will take a rest. One of the major highlights will be Ginza as its a long and busy shopping street, everyone walking on the street will look at you and want to take photos—you'll feel like a movie star.

  • Please note that International Driving Permits MUST be issued by your countries approved issuer. Some common examples are; Australia – AAA . USA – AAA or AATA. UK – AA or RAC. Canada – CAA
  • International driving permits that are issued under the Vienna Convention 1968 are NOT accepted in Japan.
  • Our cancellation policy is below;
  • Cancel up to 24 hours before the tour start time for a full refund. If you cancel within 24 hours of the tour start time the paid amount will not be refunded.
  • If your tour is canceled due to bad weather, you will be eligible for a full refund. Or you have the opportunity to reschedule depending on availability.
  • Due to the nature of operating mechanical parts, when we reach the maximum capacity of booking we may need to amend or adjust bookings depending on kart availability.
  • It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure they have the correct/valid documents for driving in Japan, failure to do so will result in denial of participation without the possibility of a refund. If you are not sure, please reach out to us directly and we can help to check if you have valid documents.

This was absolutely a blast even though it was raining! The staff very kind and accommodating! If we could give more stars we would! Definitely would do this again!

Absolutely amazing experience - would thoroughly recommend to anyone travelling to Japan! The guides were friendly, informative and very accommodating - they reassured us before the tour with everything we needed to know about the karting itself & were great with taking photos/videos for us. It was such a cool way to see the city of Tokyo and by far was one of my favourite parts of our trip!

It was an excellent experience! What a rush driving through the streets of Tokyo at 40mph along side cars! Wild! I would 100% recommend you do this. In my opinion it’s best to book the 5pm time slot as you will get light, sunset, and then night with all the street signs lit up. Felt like I was in a video game!

It’s fun and a little scary but very safe. You have a lead car and an end van so protected on the. Plus running around in a costume is YOLO!!
