On the 3 days-2 nights trip we saw 15 Orang-Utangs, and lots of other monkeys too: Gibbons (black and white), Thomas leaf monkeys... a Tucan. The food was delicious and we slept under mosquito nets in dorm-style shelters. In the end we rafted down on the river which was lots of fun. I could go on the trekking very spontaneously. You should definetly come to Bukit Lawang, visit this charming village. The trekking is not only an enriching experience but you also support the local community and give them an alternative to the palm oil industry which is destroying the forest. You can reach Bukit Lawang by public transport from Medan... Have fun!!!

Where to begin? It was great, it was tough, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. I’ve been traveling solo and was paired with just one other person and the two guides. The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. They did everything to provide us with a great experience: food, snacks, tents and rafting. But the best thing of course were the monkeys and apes we saw. Orangutans, black and white gibbons, two types of macaques and the Thomas leaf monkey. I already recommended this tour and operator to 5 different colleagues and would definitely continue recommending :)

This tour was amazing. I had two very friendly guides. They were very attentive and showed me lots of animals. Highlights were the many Orang Utans. Wonderfull. Some of theme were very near. Great. Thanks a lot for this beautyful days. The tour was perfekt. I also got the most beautifully decorated fruits in the Jungle and a cook made a excellent dinner. We had a lovely evening together. Many thanks also to Izoen. You have a great Crew. I will recommend you to others. Tree days next time. We also met us the days later for Dinner. I really enjoyed with you.

This was such an incredible experience that I will never forget. We saw so many amazing things and our guides were so knowledgeable and informative as well as motivating us through the difficult parts of the trek. The experience was made so wonderful due to the staff accompanying us through the jungle. When we arrived, our accommodation was simple yet perfect and we were treated to another delicious meal. The following day we were taken to a beautiful waterfall before the thrilling journey home rafting on the river. This excursion has given me lifelong memories and has been one of my favourite ever experiences. Thank you all!

This was easily one of the best experiences of my life! We got to see Orangutans and Thomas Monkeys in the rainforest among lots of other wildlife. Our tour guides Arnole , John and Joni couldn’t have done a better job, from being extremely knowledgeable about the rainforest and its habitants but also being incredibly supportive, caring and just all round fun guys! The first day was one of the hardest things I have done but so rewarding when we made it to camp! We were well fed the whole time, with yummy nasi goreng to an abundance of delicious fruit! The chef at the camp was incredible; he made us some of the best food I ate during my travels in Indonesia and even better, it was a wholesome candlelit experience with the guides all eating together! The second day we got to raft down the river and that was so much fun. Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this trek/company! Teri makasih banyak and hope to be back again soon for another trek.
