Itinerary

Xochimilco

I'm Edgar and my friend María locals to Xochimilco. Lets board the boat called trajinera and drink margarita, tequila, mezcal, pulque y michelda (workshop), play lottery or Mexican bingo. At the end of the Mexican lottery game I will take you to have breakfast on an island called "chinampa", a place built by my ancestors in the Xochimilco lagoon. Menu of mexican tacos, I also provide vegetarian menu. We drink plain water or mango juice for breakfast. At the end of breakfast I will provide you with tequila, pulque, margarita, mezcal and we will make your own michelada in our workshop with beer and chamoy tamarind. We will dance to the rhythm of Mexican music, I will explain the history of the place and we will play more Mexican games. Before finishing the tour I am going to give you a sample of the most important typical Mexican candies and we will return you to the initial meeting point.

We had a blast with our host yesterday. We were a group of 6 plus a couple that we met in our boat, and with free food (flautas) and unlimited drinks (water, apple juice, beers, and tequila) who could complain?! They played many games while we were I the river, many shots of tequila, and music. This is great for celebrations!

Had a hell of a time. All the people in our boat were fun!! I’d definitely recommend. They brought my kids which were two and four and my sister. They were a group of five men who were in their 70s and have been friends for 50 years. There was a couple and then a pair of friends and we all got along super well and had a total blast. The games they have you play are super fun. They experience goes by too quickly, honestly

Omar was a marvelous boat Captain! He was very entertaining and knowledgable. A mariachi band played music, we played a form of "bingo" for prizes, and the drinks were flowing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking the boat tour.

Great views and good history about the area. Pancho was fun we drank a lot of tequila. Overall the experience was beautiful. I would definitely bring extra cash for the mariachi bands they make the experience 10x better!

Awesome experience had so much fun with our group and our your guides. They explained many things played many traditional Mexican games had great food and many Drinks. Highly recommend it. Thanks to Diego, Hugo and our driver Jesus.
