On this tour we will explore one of my favorite parts of Zaragoza, we will walk through its ancient streets to discover in them the heritage that Roman, Muslim, Jewish and Christian bequeathed us. In each place we will taste a wine of the four denominations of origin of Aragon, which are Cariñena, Campo de Borja, Calatayud and Somontano, accompanied by local products, from its best vegetables, to its best cheeses and Teruel hams. We will understand the importation of winemaking in the region.

Our guide, Marta, was excellent! As we walked through the town she gave us the history of the town and the wine industry of Zaragoza. The focus on the culture and history was an unexpected and delightful surprise. She expertly guided to four different bars where we sampled a variety of wines and tapas. Marta was a charming host and made the evening memorable.

Wonderful evening in Zaragoza!

My husband and I had a wonderful time! I think as we visited during the middle of summer that it was just the 2 of us on the tour. Marta was an exceptional host, she knew so much history of the city and was so nice! It really felt like she was a friend that was taking us out for the evening :) She took us to places we wouldn’t have known to visit, including this fascinating museum in an underground wine cellar dedicated to a tower that used to be standing in Zaragoza years ago. We tried different wines at each stop which were perfectly paired with the tapas, and she explained the particulars of the wine and the regions it was made and why it went well with each tapa. We loved El Tubo! So fun wandering around this area and we loved that each place we visited was a little different and they all had their own unique vibe. We tried once of the most exotic tapas of our lives - you’ll have to take this tour to find out as I don’t want to spoil the surprise! I would definitely recommend this tour, we really had a great night! 10/10

Great local tour with good wine and tapas

Great way to get to know the old town and the tapas bars. Plenty to eat and drink and our guide lived in Zaragoza so knew where all the best places were and was very friendly. We re-visited some of the tapas bars during our stay.

An excellent experience. Got some history of Zaragoza. A tour of the market. Very interesting stops for tapas with cultural information and history and fabulous tapas and wine. Overall a wonderful introduction for us to Zaragoza as it was our first evening there and we loved the overall feel of the places we went which we know we would have never discovered on our own, nor tasted the things we tried without our expert guide. Highly recommended.
