Take a walk on the stunning white sanded beach and visit the swirling sands of Hill Inlet, one of the most photographed locations in the world. *This tour has a maximum passenger weight limit of 130kg/286lb per seat, and total combined passenger weight of 250kg/551lb. **Time spent on the beach is approximate and helicopter flight time is 30 minutes long.

Itinerary

  • Shute Harbour (Pass By)

    As we fly over Shute Harbour, the gateway to The Whitsundays, you'll be likely to see a ferry or two on their way out to the islands. Additionally, you'll see some of the smaller reefs, such as Shute Reef, and White Rock Reef

  • Long Island (Pass By)

    As we leave the mainland, we'll first fly past the north tip of Long Island. Long Island, at 9km in length and only 400m at it widest point, is the closest Island to the Australian Mainland of the Whitsunday Group. Long Island is home to expansive fringing coral reefs and secluded bays.

  • Hamilton Island (Pass By)

    Our next birds-eye view will be of Dent Island, and the ever popular Hamilton Island. Hamilton island is surrounded with beautiful coral reefs and bays, as well as it's own resort, marina and airport.

  • Whitsunday Island (Pass By)

    Whitsunday Island is the largest island in the Whitsundays, covering an area of 275.08 km² In addition to it's magnificent fringing reefs and beaches. Whitsunday Island boasts some of most beautiful scenery in the world, with the pure white sands of Whitehaven Beach and the twisting blue waters of Hill Inlet, both of which are just around the corner.

  • Whitehaven Beach

    The highlight of this tour package is our visit to Whitehaven Beach, where you will spend an hour and a half on one of the most stunning beaches in the world. Sit back and relax with the included canapés and some refreshing beverages before exploring the beauty of Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet. Whitehaven Beach is about as picturesque as they get, so make sure you have your camera ready!

  • Hill Inlet (Pass By)

    As we begin to head back to Shute Harbour, make sure you have your camera ready as we pass over Hill Inlet. The white sands of Whitehaven Beach mix with the changing turquoise tides to create a tapestry of swirling sands, best seen fromthe seat of a helicopter

  • Whitsunday Islands National Park (Pass By)

    As we begin our return to the mainland, we'll fly over Whitsunday Island and it's mountainous terrain. Once we reach the West side of the island, there will be more reefs and some smaller beaches, one of which being Dugong Beach, where you might just catch a glimpse of some Dugong or Turtles.

  • South Molle Island (Pass By)

    The last of the islands we'll see before hitting the mainland are North and South Molle Islands, and daydream island.

Amazing experience - super chill beach time. We had the whole beach to ourselves. The helicopter ride was thrilling and our pilot Justin was great.

Once In A lifetime Experience

Our original flight time would have put us in the air in the clouds and rain. Justin was flexible and delayed our start time until the weather was gorgeous for our flight. Justin was a great pilot. For my first time in a helicopter, I felt very safe and the ride was very tame. He was knowledgeable about the sites we were seeing and shared this information with us. The scenery was just AMAZING! the trip was expensive for our budget, but it was absolutely worth it. Tip- put your best photographer in the front seat where the views are most expansive.

Justin was the most perfect host for this well wow experience. He picked us up from.the cruiseport and took us to the airport. He filled us with confidence as we flew over the most amazing views I have scene. We landed on the beach and enjoyed a lovely picnic on a virtually empty whitehaven beach. This was a once in a lifetime and I am so glad it was with Justin. Thank you
