Overview

Experience the LONGEST zipline in Canada and the United States in Whistler, British Columbia. This is the ultimate zipline adventure, spanning a mind-blowing distance of more than 1.2 miles (2 kilometers) down Blackcomb Mountain. Experience spectacular views over forests, lakes, peaks, rivers — even a glacier. It's more than 7,000 feet of pure exhilaration. The use of a helmet and harness is included. This guided adventure is available from mid June to October (Canadian Thanksgiving).

Meeting points

Look for the Ziptrek tents on the stairs of the Excalibur Gondola at the base of Whistler Mountain in Skier's Plaza. This location is close to the Whistler Village Gondola and Longhorn Saloon, and directly across from the Dubh Linn Gate Pub.

This activity ends back at the meeting point.

Itinerary

The Sasquatch is accessed via the Blackcomb Gondola and a short van ride to the launch platform. Once zipped across the valley, a short walk to mid-station on the Whistler Gondola, where they will download to Whistler Village.

Take your breath away views! We felt very comfortable with the equipment and instructions. Not for those afraid of heights. I would do it again in a heartbeat! 62 mph what a down the mountain thrill.

What an amazing experience. Exhilarating and awesome. A must do adventure while you’re in Whistler. Guides Sarah, Emily and Mel were awesome. Attention to detail and very safety conscious. Doesn’t get much better than that when it comes to the customer experience. Definitely have to get the GoPro to capture all the moments. Excellent value for money. Highly recommend. An experience of a lifetime and one that you will never forget. These folks know what customer service is all about. Congratulations on a stellar job and thank you for the memories……
