    Skip the long entrances lines and begin your guided tour through the Versailles Palace, where you’ll discover the palace’s history and significance. Learn how it functioned as the center of political power in France from 1682 to 1789.

    Then, discrover the magnificent Gardens of Versailles, with your guide, which contain about 210,000 flowers planted annually within the gardens’ 1,977 acres (800 hectares). Your knowledgeable guide will tell you about the astounding 50 years of development of the gardens. Today, the Gardens of Versailles are one of the most visited sites in France. We took the English speaking tour. Our guide, Gabrielle, was friendly, professional, and full of interesting information. On a busy day, we appreciated the “Skip the line” tickets at each location. The fall colors of the trees made October a beautiful time to walk the grounds of Versailles. We recommend avoiding Paris trip during 2 week Fall school break.
