Overview

On your 6.5-hour biking and hiking adventure, explore the natural beauty of British Columbia. Cycle along the Trans Canada Trail in the Fraser Valley and hike through the temperate rain forest in the North Shore. Your tour includes bicycle rental and helmet, lunch and refreshments, and transportation for the day. We are the only tour operator with access to the stunning Trans Canada Trail at Pitt Meadows. This is the longest recreational trail in the world that stretches from the East Coast of Canada all the way to the West Coast. On our tours we try to pass on our great respect and love for the outdoors and nature. Along the way we will provide guests with some interesting facts about the local flora & fauna. We also try to educate guests on the proud First Nation people who inhabited this land for thousands of years. This trip is suitable for adventurous people of all ages, with a basic level of fitness.

What To Expect

1. Lynn Canyon Park We go for a beautiful hike in Lynn Canyon Park and cross the 150 foot high suspension bridge into the forest. Here we learn some interesting facts about the local flora & fauna and the proud First Nation peoples that lived in these lands for thousands of years. We make a loop hike through the park and enjoy the lush rainforest before heading back to the bus for the second half of the tour. 1 hour 30 minutes

2. Vancouver Downtown We pick guests up in downtown Vancouver before crossing the Lion's Gate Bridge into North Vancouver

3. Baden-Powell Trail We will hike along the Baden Powell Trail for 1.5 hours in Lynn Canyon Park 1 hour 30 minutes

4. Golden Ears Provincial Park We will enjoy views of the Golden Ears Provincial Park on our bike ride on the Trans Canada Trail at Pitt Meadows. 2 hours

5. Pinecone Burke Provincial Park We will enjoy views of the Pinecone Burke Provincial Park on our bike ride on the Trans Canada Trail at Pitt Meadows. 2 hours

6. Into The Wild Cycling Tours Into The Wild Tours will be your friendly and knowledgeable hosts on this fantastic experince 6 hours

7. Vancouver Downtown We finish the tour back in downtown Vancouver and drop guests off from we collected them 15 minutes

For a full refund, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the experience’s start time.
Any changes made less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.
Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

Great experience with Arman, our tour lead. He was patient, knowledgeable and helpful throughout our tour. It’s a very fun tour. Highly recommend it.

Forest, lunch, ride adventure

Paul and Armand provided a wonderful day out in the open away from the busy areas. From pickup to drop off they were very caring, friendly and informative. The small group allowed for good interaction. We loved their adventurous spirits and will hold this in our memories for a long time.

Paul told a lot about Vancouver's overall knowledge, the ecosystem and vegetation of the BC forests and the high mountains surrounding it. A day after this guided tour, I had plan going on a trek to Mount Garibaldi and he lent me two bear sprays. (Luckily, I didn't use them.) And without Paul's knowledge of hiking in Vancouver, by now my friend and I might have been in trouble in the mountains. Freezing to death. Thank u so much and it was an amazing tour.. Core memory created indeed.

Amazing day trip. Picked us up on time. Comfortable ride up into a park for a mountain hike. Then awesome lunch at fresh farm. Then a fun bike ride (easy) at the foothills of the mountains. Paul and Armand are very professional and great to hang out with all day. I would call Paul for any kind of tour.

Well Paul ... Thank you for a brilliant day. The walk through the temperate rainforest was absolutely brilliant and very educational...even for a couple in their late 50's .... Lunch was perfect and the cycle ride around the blueberry/cranberry fields,rivers,canals was perfect. Everything was 'easy' ... No drama...just a really enjoyable day out. Your friendly manner puts everybody at ease.... Even if one member of our group wanted to 'go their own way' rather than stay with the rest of the cyclists.... You managed everything very well. Your equipment and cycles are clearly well maintained, and the varied frame sizes catered for everybody on the ride. I've got plenty of retro Gary Fisher frames if you want a mountain bike building up. :-) Have a great life and we hope your excellent tour/adventure business goes from strength to strength.
