Overview

On your 6.5-hour biking and hiking adventure, explore the natural beauty of British Columbia. Cycle along the Trans Canada Trail in the Fraser Valley and hike through the temperate rain forest in the North Shore. Your tour includes bicycle rental and helmet, lunch and refreshments, and transportation for the day. We are the only tour operator with access to the stunning Trans Canada Trail at Pitt Meadows. This is the longest recreational trail in the world that stretches from the East Coast of Canada all the way to the West Coast. On our tours we try to pass on our great respect and love for the outdoors and nature. Along the way we will provide guests with some interesting facts about the local flora & fauna. We also try to educate guests on the proud First Nation people who inhabited this land for thousands of years. This trip is suitable for adventurous people of all ages, with a basic level of fitness.

Itinerary

  • Lynn Canyon Park

    We go for a beautiful hike in Lynn Canyon Park and cross the 150 foot high suspension bridge into the forest. Here we learn some interesting facts about the local flora & fauna and the proud First Nation peoples that lived in these lands for thousands of years. We make a loop hike through the park and enjoy the lush rainforest before heading back to the bus for the second half of the tour.

  • Vancouver Downtown (Pass By)

    We pick guests up in downtown Vancouver before crossing the Lion's Gate Bridge into North Vancouver

  • Baden-Powell Trail

    We will hike along the Baden Powell Trail for 1.5 hours in Lynn Canyon Park

  • Golden Ears Provincial Park

    We will enjoy views of the Golden Ears Provincial Park on our bike ride on the Trans Canada Trail at Pitt Meadows.

    We will enjoy views of the Pinecone Burke Provincial Park on our bike ride on the Trans Canada Trail at Pitt Meadows.

SO MUCH FUN!!

Although I've been going to school at UBC for 3 years now, i haven't seen too much outside of the city. Now of course i've been to Lynn Canyon, who hasn't, but learning SO much about the temperate rain forest, trees, and wild life was very interesting and eye opening. It's amazing how we can be surrounded by so much and know very little about it. We had a fantastic farm-to-table lunch after Lynn Canyon and went for a 10ish mile bike ride. WOW! I didn't even know this area/trails existed. So much beauty, yet very quite and peaceful. The whole day was fantastic, from the Mercedes Shuttle pickup in Downtown, to learning about our forests, impeccable fresh lunch, joyous and refreshing bike ride by the farms and mountains, to the smooth ride back to Downtown with enjoyable tunes! I highly recommend this experience to anyone, wether you're visiting in Vancouver or a local looking to get into some green spaces. Paul was a great guide!

Fun day out - hiking and biking

Lovely day, beautiful nature and our guide Paul was great, learned good few things about nature and history. Few sweaty steps on the hike, but all worth it, beautiful chilled mountain bike ride through the berry fields with astonishing mountain views on the background. Thank you.

Armand was a perfectly gracious host and knowledgeable guide! Great hike and cycling in places enjoyed by local residents. Loved the chance to take a dip into the clear creek water and savor lunch at a farm cafe. Great day in Vancouver area!

Awesome daytrip hiking & biking

This daytrip was the best and rven more so. The morning was about hiking in the woods, beautiful area and morninglight in the woods. For lunch and the biking tour we went to a totally different area to go mountainbiking, lunch at a local farmstall restaurant. Paul was a very energetic guide who knows a lot about the outdoors in Vamcouver and outer area . I loved every hour of this day and trip!
