We met Mica in the square, he was waiting when we arrived. We got to Chichén-Itzá nice and early so we missed the crowds! I loved walking around the site, the 2 1/2 hours was plenty of time.
We then went to 2 cenotes. X-Cajum was beautiful with great facilities. The Cenote itself was quiet and it was stunning seeing the light bouncing off the walls! The buffet lunch was OK but nothing special.
We then went to Cenote X- Cajum which was more of a rustic affair with seen better days life jackets and a hair raising wooden staircase down. The Cenote was quite beautiful with the view up to the sky through the trees stunning.
Mica stopped in Uayma where we took some pictures of the beautiful church. The journey around was very picturesque with gorgeous butterflies everywhere. Mica was great, he was funny and taught us some Mayan words. He dropped us we’re we were staying.
We had a great day out! Thank-you!!
