Discover the whole wine-making process, from grape to wine, with Myriam, the granddaughter and wife of winegrowers from the Vouvray vineyard in the Loire Valley. 3-hour tour including a guided walk in the vines, a tour of the winery and rock-hewn cellar, and a tasting of 6 Loire wines with local finger food. Discover the Vouvray wines and deepen your knowledge of Loire vineyard while enjoying a personalized attention from your local guide on this small-group tour limited to 12 people.

The winery is located in Chançay, between Tours (18km) and Amboise (13km). You will need to come with your own car or by taxi to the winery.

Really great 3 hour tour of the vineyard and winery followed by a wine tasting with accompaniments. Would recommend this tour to anyone interested in wine but who doesn't want to commit an entire day to a tour.

A highlight of our Loire Valley visit!

We had a wonderful afternoon and learned so much about wine-making in France and wine in general. It was fascinating to learn about how complex the process is, and about the specificities of the AOC system. We walked through the vineyard, visited the wine cellar, got to see some of the machinery in action, and tasted delicious wines paired with local cheeses. Myriam was a wonderful guide, so knowledgeable and patient and willing to answer all our questions. Would highly recommend! This was definitely a highlight of our visit to the Loire Valley.

Miriam was passionate and knowledgeable about the work of winemaking! We loved the hilly, long walk in the vineyard. The tasting is truly wonderful and in depth and the local food boards were amazing.
