Overview
I am a native of Misaloya, a town surrounded by nature and with many beautiful places to visit. But without a doubt the place that stands out the most of all is the Los Arcos de Mismaloya National Marine Park. This is a protected area without government support, so I am part of a small group of local guides who are in charge of taking care of it, and preserving the area. the most responsible way possible. So you will know this area as if you were a native of this area, and you will know the importance of conserving this site in the best way.
Itinerary
We will meet at Mismaloya Beach, where we will set sail by boat to visit the Los Arcos de Mismaloya National Marine Park. There are 5 islands here, 3 of which have natural caves. We will go inside them to take beautiful photos, and later we will visit a natural aquarium where colorful fish abound and can be observed from the boat. In this aquarium we will snorkel to observe marine life. You can find many schools of fish, and we can also find manta rays and sea turtles. Once the snorkeling activity is over, we will visit Paredon Beach, this place with white sand and crystal-clear waters will enchant you, the only way to access it is by sea. To finish the tour we will take a walk around the islands to see the different types of seabirds that live there. Finally we will return to the pier to conclude the tour.

Ryan our guide was awesome. Pick up and drop off at appointed time and place was flawless. Enjoyable day on the water. Saw a huge stingray! Reef itself has seen better days and not much live coral. But still made for a fun day!

We had an amazing time with Brian and chuy!! They were excellent guides, very personable and showed us a fantastic time. We even saw a turtle, a whale and sting rays! We ate at Bryan’s restaurant afterward and had a fantastic meal! Five stars all around

We had a great day snorkeling with the salty boys. They took us out for about 2 hours with one hour of snorkeling. Most tours I’ve done you only snorkel for 15-30 minutes. We saw so many fish and other wildlife. The price is unbeatable cheaper than any other tours I’ve seen. A really great experience, highly recommend.

Very simple and easy tour. We brought our own snorkel gear, quick boat ride and jump in. We were allowed to swim and snorkel at our own pace very good outfit.

This trip was one of my best days in Puerto Vallarta and I’ve been here ten months! Can’t believe I didn’t do it sooner. My friend wanted to go snorkeling and I was afraid I’d be disappointed after living previously on the Caribbean side of Mexico. I was totally shocked at how amazing the snorkeling was here in the Pacific at Los Arcos. The Salty Dog crew met my friend and I at the bottom of the road on Mismaloya Beach and took us a short walk to the boat. It’s a short ten minute ride to the snorkeling location. The water was crystal clear and warm. The guide Johnny swam down about 15 feet and brought up a baby starfish for us to see. The caves, underwater caverns and colorful fish were just stunning. They took us to a beautiful beach afterward to swim and take pics. It was a beautiful day and we’re already planning to go again!
