Parco Maria Callas (Pass By)
Going up towards the Cortine hill if you turn right a beautiful tree-lined avenue will lead you to Maria Callas Park.
Have courage: leave the main street and lose yourself along the paths of the park between cedars of Lebanon and cypresses. Sit on a bench reading a book or in the silence sharpen your sight, because you might see squirrels leaping from branch to branch.
The shade will protect you from the summer heat and the wind-blown foliage will rock your thoughts, the imposing cedars of Lebanon will welcome you under their foliage, while the tapered cypress trees will show you to look a little further up the blue sky above you.
Castello Scaligero (Pass By)
the Scaliger castle of Sirmione is a fortress from the Scaliger era, a gateway to the historic center of Sirmione. It is one of the most complete and best preserved castles in Italy, as well as a rare example of lake fortification.

We enjoyed a beautiful sunset cruise with Salvo. Right from when we first booked the trip he was really helpful especially as one of our party struggles walking. He managed to ensure that the steps into the boat were as small as possible. He was then the perfect host providing drinks and snacks and local information. I wouldn’t hesitate to go on a cruise with Salvo again next time I’m at Lake Garda.
