Please take the Cruise Ship Shuttle service to the Timaru I site. Your small group tour bus will be located just across the street from the shuttle drop-off at the Timaru I Site. Your Driver will have an identified shirt on and a sign to help you identify him. All tours ... will ensure travelers will be returned to the I site in Timaru by a minimum of 1 hour before the departure time of your ship ( in some tours, this may mean a 6-hour return tour). Lake Tekapo

Experience some of New Zealand’s finest scenery of the legendary Mackenzie Country. This sightseeing tour journeys from the sea to the foothills to the mighty glaciers and turquoise waters of Lake Tekapo. Enjoy in-depth local commentary on the outstanding natural landscapes of The Mackenzie Country, its history, and the unique geological processes that make this part of the South Island so incredible. You’ll explore some of the finest scenery on this tour and have time to explore Lake Tekapo for 1.5 hours at your own leisure. Just enough time to snap photos of the Church of the Good Shepherd, have a walk along the lake, and grab lunch in town at your own expense. After lunch, you will be off on a backcountry road to explore some private viewpoints of Mt Cook & Lake Pukaki, before returning back to the Port of Timaru.

You will get breathtaking views of Mt Cook ( weather permitting) from our access to a stunning private Sheep Farm which offers some of the best views of Mt Cook, Mt Tasman and Lake Pukaki. We will not be driving into Mt Cook Village, as time demands are too short for Cruise Ship Port stops. This allows cruise ship passengers the chance to view Mt Cook by land within a small time frame.
