Uphold on Downtown

Published on Oct, 2024

Good weather, small group, extremely well-informed and engaging guide, Angelica, who showed us a lot that even frequent visitors and LA natives never see, though most of that we saw is open to the public.

Friendly expert!

Angelica was the perfect tour guide. She has a degree in art history; I work in an art/architecture library and I still learned so much! She was so friendly and warm. Couldn’t have been better.

The perfect way to connect with DTLA’s Music, Art and Architectural spaces

Published on Sep, 2024

I had taken this tour with a couple of my best friends, and Anjelica was a fantastic guide, weaving Downtown’s artistic, musical and architectural, story to us. The pacing of the tour was great, and we really appreciated how intentional Anjelica was with the order in which we saw everything. She’s extremely knowledgeable and personable offered clear explanations of what we were seeing and where we were going. One of the highlights for us was visiting a “secret spot” (my own words haha) within the grounds of the Walt Disney Concert Hall - I won’t give it away since it was such a great surprise! I’ve lived in Downtown for years, and yet I learned so much from her about the city I love so much. I walked away with a new found appreciation for Downtown, so thank you Anjelica! I would definitely take the tour again and think it’s perfect for friends and family visiting LA and could very well be a unique date option as well!

LOVED this tour!

Lived in Los Angelew my whole life and had no idea DTLA was this interesting. Spark of life really brought out by Anjelica's (our tour guides) enthusiam and intimate knowledge of the area. Great way to spend and afternoon!

Great tour from an LA native POV

Published on Sep, 2024

Took the downtown LA art tour, and it was a cool way to see the city differently. We checked out some iconic spots like the Disney Concert Hall and Angels Flight—super cute and fun. The guide was an artist, so it felt like you were getting an insider view on the art scene. MOCA and The Broad were the main highlights for sure, especially the Infinity Mirror Rooms. The guide actually made modern art make some sense (I'm no expert). Good tour if you’re into architecture, art, or just want a new way to see LA from an actual LA native.
