Patrick was our guide and Levay was the driver. This tour is the bomb! These two gentlemen went above and beyond to ensure our experience was one we would always remember.
We left no stone unturned by seeing where the Battle of Ardennes was fought in December, 1944. We saw the foxholes, & the wooded area where the bullets killed so many men. We spent time in the Bastogne War Museum. We saw many German Tanks on display, which were not reproductions but the real deal.
One of the members of our group, her Father was a US paratrooper in the Battle of the Bulge with the 509. They located a marker which referenced the 509. This was very emotional. But to find a marker depicting his battalion had been there almost 80 years earlier! WOW
