Overview

Enjoy the best group adrenaline buggy tour with sandboarding at sunset in the only oasis in South America, the Huacachina Oasis, an oasis located 4 hours south of Lima that not only surprises with its dunes and the desert that surrounds it, but also because of how charming and exciting it can be. Our experienced drivers will take you through the highest dunes and cross the desert at full speed so you can ride your board through the sand and finally enjoy the desert sunset.

Meeting points

We will meet with the whole group at the Huacachina Oasis to begin entering the desert and start the tour. After coordination to WhatsApp +51936875137, we will pick you up at the meeting point, our representative and driver will ask for your name.

Desert Adventure!!

Incredible experience with this tour operator! Enthusiastic, friendly and helpful staff. Alejandro the owner of Huacachina trueXperiences, picked us up personally from our bus station in Ica. He drove us to the snowboard rental shop and made sure we had the best service, then dropped us at our hostel whilst also ensuring we got front row seats in the dune buggy! The activity itself is an exhilarating race through the dunes with steep banked turns and picturesque views. The drivers are excellent and ensured safety as well as fun! Sandboarding was an excellent experience (to be noted that rental of ski/snowboard equipment is an extra cost of 20PEN per person) but the included bodyboards are extremely fun also! The activity finishes with sitting and watching the sun go down in the middle of the dunes before being dropped back to the viewpoint of the oasis. There is a couple stops along the way to take photographs and videos so i recommend bringing your cameras and drones! However i would say it is advised to keep them in a secure bag attached to your body whilst in the buggy as it is a fast and sometimes bumpy ride!

Rollercoaster Dunes and stunning sunset

Higly recommend this Trip if you are in the area! My girlfriend and I met Alejandro by coincidence and he was very helpful multiple times during our stay in Huaccachina. A trip with the sand buggys is a must, it is a lot of fun and feels like a rollercoaster driving through the dunes. At the end you will have time to enjoy the sunset, an amzing view from the hills in the desert. One of the best sunsets i have ever seen, much love , Konstantin from Germany

We booked this amazing Buggy tour with Alejandro and where beyond happy!! It was such an fantastic and fun ride. If you go to Huacachina, it's a MUST, and Alejandro is truely the best guide you can have!!!! We also booked a City tour in Ica with him and we loved everything about it.
