Itinerary

  • Port Olimpic (Pass By)

    The departure harbor is Port Olimpic Of Barcelona, the most important Port of the city. Currently in remodeling to the America's Cup 2024.

  • Playa de La Barceloneta

    You can see the most famous beach of the city and the old fisherman neighborhood from the sea until the marvelous W Hotel. At this point you will be able to swim in the mediterranean sea jumping from the boat.

  • Basilica de la Sagrada Familia (Pass By)

    Attention! you will see the amazing Sagrada Familia from the sea just once we are outside of the port, between the two big towers.

  • Montjuic (Pass By)

    You will see the famous Montjuic mountain from the sea. One of the limits of the city. And after this we will sail back again to Port Olimpic.

Smooth sailing in Barcelona

Sailing out into the bay was a bit chilly. But the light wind and clear sky was very pleasant. I've sailed in rough weather and was thankful the weather that day was mild. As for the cold Cava, (champaign) That was not so much a bonus to the trip as a bother. The plastic stem flutes were not stable for a sailboat with just a thin table top in the cock pit so they just fell over and spilt on the floor. A better drink to offer would have been a hot chocolate.

Fun time with Captain Luigi

Our sunset cruise turned into a mid-day cruise due to a high wind advisory for later that day. Captain Luigi made sure that we enjoyed our time with plenty of good cava and smooth sailing, And we did!
