    This square takes its name from the neighborhood in which it is located, in front of it is the Convent of San Diego (University of Fine Arts), and on the other side the Convento Santa Clara (Hotel Sofitel Santa Clara), it is a square surrounded by restaurants and it is usually full of students from the university of fine arts.

    The Walled City of Cartagena is the historical and cultural center of the city. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1984. It has many attractions, such as colonial buildings, churches, museums, plazas, restaurants and bars. It is also a place to enjoy the colorful architecture, the lively atmosphere and the rich history of Cartagena.

    Parque Centenario is a green park in the heart of Cartagena, that offers a space for relaxation and recreation. It was built in 1911 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the independence of Colombia. It has a variety of trees and plants, as well as animals such as sloths, monkeys and iguanas. It is located near the old city and other attractions.

    Getsemani is one of the oldest and most authentic neighborhoods in Cartagena. It has a history of resistance and independence from the Spanish colonial rule. My best tour of Cartagena

Had a great tour with Mr. Adalberto, who was lovely and spoke excellent English (since my Spanish is only so-so!) I was the only one on the tour on this day and we saw so much in only 3 hours…. All the major sights within the walled city and the fantastic street art murals in Getsemani. We had the opportunity to visit the La Ceiba ice cream parlor where we were treated to a delicious Kola Roman ice cream; an original soda from Colombia that was acquired by Coca Cola.
