Discover the untold history of the famous Gethsemane neighborhood! This is a tour where you will go through the most emblematic streets and its representative squares of a historically resistant town, its folklore, its colors, its music and its people. Get closer to the Getsemanicence culture through our tour where you will understand the importance of a segregated and insurgent people during the colony. Today you will find a tourist neighborhood with original inhabitants, heirs of a rich culture that at first sight hides stories and legends of revolution, pride and tradition. This Tour is part of a shared experience called "Free Walking Tour" and the value you just paid through Viator is the same suggested tip per person for the guide's work. This amount that you already paid in advance will go directly to your guide (minus the commission). In this way, at the end of the Tour, the guide will not ask you for any extra contribution. Rodolfo was my English tour guide and he did a great job. His English, knowledge of history and storytelling was very good. The tour was excellent. We walked through all the famed streets and areas. He recommended places to eat, dance, drink, authentic foods to eat for all budgets, etc. The pace of the tour was great for all ages. Overall great tour.
