This food walking tour was truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. Jane, our guide, clearly loves this community—and it loves her right back. As you stroll through the streets, you’ll hear locals calling out warm greetings to her, a testament to the deep connections she’s built over time. That spirit of authenticity and kindness flows through the entire tour.
The food stops were outstanding—each place bursting with flavor and local charm. From the comforting elderberry tea to the fiery “hot mango” sauce, every bite and sip was a treat. We were especially impressed with Kim at St. John’s Brewers, whose mixology skills added a unique twist to the afternoon.
Jane’s storytelling elevated the experience, weaving together history, culture, and personal anecdotes that made the tour come alive. The route itself is very accessible—no hills or difficult terrain—making it perfect for people of all abilities.
This wasn’t just a food tour. It was an immersion in community, culture, and connection. We’ve been on many tours before, but this one stands out for its heart and depth. Highly, highly recommended!
