Enjoy skip the line access into the St Marks Church, marvel the hallways of the Doges Palace and explore the city from the waterfront during your gondola ride - accompanied by one of our Gondoliers! After some leisure time for lunch our tour embarks on an adventure to explore the world renown islands of Murano and Burano. Our guide will whisk you through the islands most charming streets on your way to witness the age-old craft of Lace making and Glass Blowing. This tour is the perfect combo of Venetian History, Local Craftmanship and Sightseeing!

Meeting points

Please Arrive 15 Minutes Early. Between the two big columns in St. Mark’s Square (columns of San Marco & San Teodoro) located on the south side of the square, near the canal. Your guide will be holding a "The Tour Guy" sign.

Itinerary

  • Basilica di San Marco

    We provide the skip the line tickets, so walk right past the long queue and go right on inside. During November through March, St. Mark’s Basilica does not offer skip the line entry because lines are generally non-existent.

  • Doge's Palace

    As you explore the Doge’s Palace, you’ll hear about the wild ways of the Venetian Republic under the rule of elected magistrates. This tour not only showcases the interior of this ornate palace, but also goes in depth about the crime and legal system that was once in place in the city of Venice. Admire classic works of Venetian art and visit Doge’s Palace’s main sights, such as the Grand Staircase and the Bridge of Sighs. You'll even get to see some of the prison cells that were functional during the time of the Venetian Republic.

    Time to Board your Gondola! After your visit to St Marks and the Doges Palace conclude, it’s time to partake in that quintessential Venice activity. That’s right, step right up to your gondola boat! Left in the care of a trusted gondolier, enjoy the beauty of Venice from the water. Fun fact: in the Venetian dialect, “gondolier” translates into “rowing master”. Glide through the panoramic Canals in a gondola accommodating upto 5 participants.

Besides the rain it was a beautiful day. Our guides Michaela, Nicola and Christina were lovely guides. Lots of sites on one day great way to see a lot of Venice.

Enjoyable tours of Venice

We truly enjoyed our Venice tour. Our morning guide Eliza was friendly and shared lots of information about Doge’s Palace and St. Marks Basilica. We also enjoyed our afternoon tour to Murano and Burano with our guide Christina. The Murano glass making tour was interesting and the showroom beautiful. Burano was a pretty, quaint island to stroll through.

Memorable time in Venice!

This was such an amazing tour and our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. December is a fabulous time to travel through Italy. The Doges palace was nearly empty early in the morning and we had the opportunity to see everything without enormous crowds. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and took care to make sure that all of our questions were answered along with providing an insiders point of view because she was a local. Just one caution, make sure that you get a friendly gondola driver. We had a grouchy one and it took away from the awesomeness of the day. For December in Venice, I recommend a warm jacket and a hat along with some gloves if you are visiting from a warmer part of the world. The Murano/Burano trip was definitely worth it. Both islands were so lovely. My daughter and I traveled through Italy for her 21st birthday. This tour and Venice are a must experience :)

Elena was our tour guide who was very nice, upbeat and informative. She was considerate of the group’s needs and we spent adequate time at each point of interest. The meeting location was very easy to find. We felt that we got to see and experience the most important aspects of our trip to Venice in a day with no hassle.
