Ideal for families, this ghost tour of St. Augustine’s spookiest sites combines light-hearted fun with spine-tingling tales of the city’s past. Alongside a costumed guide, you visit cemeteries, the ground of the Old Fort, and other haunted locations to discover the little-known legends that surround the romantic venue. This small-group tour is limited in order to maintain an atmosphere suitable for the ghost walk. • Haunted ghosts walk around historic St. Augustine • Ideal for families, the tour combines humor with spooky stories. • Visit allegedly haunted spots such as the Old Fort and local cemeteries. • Keep your eyes peeled for restless souls in two cemeteries.

  • A Ghostly Encounter’s Storm Policy (as follows)
  • 1. A Ghostly Encounter tours operate rain or shine. Florida weather changes rapidly and is unpredictable, and we monitor our weather prior to all tours.
  • 2. If lighting is present in the area: we will delay the start of the tour for 20 minutes to give the storm time to pass, then proceed as normal.
  • 3. If lightening remains present in the area, management may decide to reschedule the tour. Guests will be moved to the following evening’s tours or to the nearest date convenient with the group.
  • 4. If rescheduling is not convenient, each guest will be provided a voucher for a future A Ghostly Encounter tour, subject to availability. For offer to be valid, guest must present the voucher directly to our office staff upon returning to St. Augustine or speak directly with the office staff to reschedule (not through a third-party booking site). Please remember to bring your voucher with you. Lost or forgotten vouchers will not be honored; however, vouchers do not expire.

Our guide was fantastic. I believe his name was Lee. He did several accents very convincingly. He was knowledgeable and interesting. He was also funny. We all had a fantastic time.

Our guide, Hippie, was a masterful storyteller who brought the history and hauntings of the area to life in such an engaging way. He shared fascinating details about the four types of ghostly encounters, then had us participate by guessing the type of ghost based on the sightings he described—it was such a fun and interactive touch! Hippie’s deep knowledge of the area, combined with his humor and kindness, made the evening both educational and thoroughly enjoyable. We had Hippie lead our ghostly tour. The scientific information, and back stories combined with factual information made for a great tour. He engaged with my 12 year old and all the guests. The sites and stories made for a great time. Of all the tours we've done my son really liked this one. Highly recommend!
