Overview

This experience is about 10-11 hours long and will include plenty of time for you to complete a bucket list of things to do during your mountain day. From the minute you step into the vehicle you'll feel the welcoming Alberta vibe! If you're here for a day or are trying to kick off your Banff vacation out of the park, and don't want to be in a big crowded bus, this unscripted adventure is for you! There will be plenty of time to take photos, eat, shop, get your feet wet and maybe even swim! You will cover the main attraction sites such as Lake Louise, the Banff Gondola, Banff Avenue downtown, and Canmore for a quick bite (included) to calm down the beast within. There'll be plenty of recommendations for whatever you like to do on your self-exploring time! There is plenty of flat surface for you to walk around admiring nature and wildlife, squirrels count too! The mountains look spectacular from all angles, we look forward to showing them off when you get here!

    We do not stop here during the winter months as the lake is close until June. When the lake opens us we will take you to this incredible, local favourite stop in Banff. *** During the other months we will add Lake Minnewanka & Two Jack Lake as an additional stop instead of Moraine lake.***

    Your adventure ends in the picturesque town of Canmore nestled in the Bow Valley. A delightful blend of natural splendor and quaint charm. We'll stop here for a quick break and a hot drink to warm you up back to Calgary.

Great tour! Gordon was a great tour guide and driver. I would do this same tour again. I had an issue with trying to book this tour the previous day, last minute. It did not “book,” too last-minute I guess. I was so disappointed I could not go the day before.. I was hesitant to book again, but after my flight canceled resulting in an additional day in Calgary, I booked for the following day. I booked this tour because there was a pick-up at my hotel. Although I was a little afraid of being disappointed again, I booked for the next day, and I LOVED it!!! Gordon picked me up at my hotel, and the tour was fantastic!! Perfect amount of stops/breaks/bathroom opportunities.

Our tour guide was Kevin and he was exceptional! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the area, he shared fascinating insights into Banff's history, wildlife, and natural wonders. His energy and enthusiasm made the entire experience more engaging, and he ensured we didn’t miss any of the must-see spots. We felt well taken care of throughout the day and he was sure to provide us hand warmers, sleds, and water. He was a great photographer and made sure we got some great shots as a couple. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Banff with an expert guide. We were picked up promptly and had a full day of experiences. If you visit in December be sure to dress warm with layers and wear beanies, snow boots, and wool socks.
